Following in the footsteps of our popular “Discovering Nature and Science” series which uses fully integrated living books to introduce new science concepts each week, our “Discovering History” series also uses this time tested method recommended by Charlotte Mason herself.

To be used by all ages, each student keeps his own book to work on weekly lessons in Vocabulary (words pertaining to the history story for the week), To Read (a chapter each week in the ongoing story of history, integrated into the volume), Finding Out More (researching to dig into the time period and record what is learned, to truly “own” the information being learned, Digging Into the Bible (studying more deeply into what we can learn as Christians from the history lesson), and keeping a Timeline of Events (pictures and instructions included) that grows throughout the different volumes in this series through the years.
