This book is very simple, but just perfect for my 5 year old son. The variety of activities combined with basic alphabet practice helped my son grow in several ways: thinking, hand/eye coordination, verbalizing, fine motor skills, being exposed to poems, stories and art work, learning to draw from his imagination and feeling confident in letter recognition. This book was a favorite of our day and we look forward to continuing in this series.
